What we do
Our work is centred on humane, practical and sustainable responses to cat overpopulation and cat welfare in the WA Wheatbelt.
Community cat & stray-cat assistance
We help residents understand their options and, where resources allow, coordinate practical assistance such as monitoring, humane trapping, transport, rescue pathways and liaison with other services.
Sterilisation & microchipping access
We work to improve access to affordable sterilisation and microchipping, particularly where financial, transport, mobility or geographic barriers make veterinary care harder to reach.
Foster care
Cats needing rescue, rehabilitation or rehoming are cared for in foster homes rather than a central shelter.
Adoption
We work to place suitable cats into responsible homes, using discussion, meet-and-greets and foster-to-adopt where appropriate.
Transport
Distance is a major practical issue in regional animal welfare. Transport can connect cats and residents with veterinary clinics, rescue organisations, foster carers and other services.
Education & advocacy
We promote compassionate and responsible cat ownership, early sterilisation, humane population management and collaboration between residents, rescues, veterinary providers and communities.
