Our cats have different histories, personalities and needs. We want each placement to have the best chance of becoming a safe, permanent home.
Our adoption process
1. Enquire
Submit an enquiry or application about a cat or the type of home you can offer.
2. Talk it through
We discuss the cat, your household and what you are looking for, and arrange a meet-and-greet where appropriate.
3. Placement
We work through the adoption or foster-to-adopt process and provide the relevant care information.
Foster-to-adopt
Some placements may be suitable for a foster-to-adopt period. This gives the household and the cat time to settle before the adoption is finalised. Conditions are documented in the foster-to-adopt agreement.

Available cats can change quickly. Keep an eye on PetRescue and Facebook, or consider fostering — foster homes help create capacity for another cat to be rescued.
